Crocs Offseason Update: March 15 – March 21

Here is the latest Crocs Offseason Update from our players across the world this past week.

Puerto Rico

It has been a massive week for import Omar Samhan who has competed in 5 games for San German.  The first game of the week saw San German go up against Indios de Mayaguez where San German would go down 112-85.  Samhan finished with 5 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks.  The following night, San German would take on Caciques de Humacao however they would slump to another loss going down 92-88.  Samhan had 16 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks.  San German continued their losing ways two days later going down to Atenienses de Manati 99-83 with Samhan finishing with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

San German were finally able to break their four game losing streak defeating Piratas de Quebradillas 90-83.  Samhan had 17 points, a game high 13 rebounds and 2 blocks in the victory.  Meanwhile today San German went down to Capitanes de Arecibo 89-79 with Samhan finishing with 8 points and 6 rebounds.

New Zealand

In round two of the NZNBL season, the Southland Sharks got their first win of the season defeating the Taranaki Mountain Airs 87-81.  Import Jordair Jett finished with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals while Nick Kay had 10 points, 8 rebounds and 2 steals.

Meanwhile Leon Henry and his Wellington Saints had the weekend off.
