Omar Samhan



Standing at 211cm, Samhan is a product of St Mary’s College where he played alongside current Crocodiles Clint Steindl and Mitch Young.

The 27-year old became a crowd favourite at St Mary’s averaging 21.3 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.9 block in his senior year. Samhan would in his final year of college win the West Coast Conference (WCC) Defensive Player of the Year as well being named in the WCC First Team.

Since leaving college, Samhan has played professionally in Lithuania, Philippines, Germany and Egypt.

Before joining the Crocs, Samhan played in the NBA Development League for the Texas Legends.

Despite only playing 12 games, Samhan had a big impact at the club during the 2015/16 season averaging 13 points and 8.9 rebounds per game while motivating the rest of his team.

Samhan has also previously had a training camp invite with the Houston Rockets and has played for the Egypt National Team.
