Holiday Camps are used to continue our involvement with all the primary schools in Townsville and the greater region. Holiday camps compliment the Youth Hoops program by providing another avenue to attend a Townsville McDonald’s Crocodiles event other than our game nights.

Next School Holiday Clinic will be held on the 21st & 22nd of September.

School Holiday Camp Implementation

-         A minimum of three holiday camps will be held during 2010/11

-         July, September & January School Holidays

-         All schools will be asked to promote the Holiday camp to their students

-         Flyers will be placed in Youth Hoop packs

-         Website promotion

-         E-news letter promotion

-         Media release and coverage of the event

School Holiday Camp structure

-         1 or 2 day camp

-         Camps to be either held at Crocs Club or Townsville Basketball

-         Smaller camps @ Crocs Club

-         Larger camps can be held @ Townsville Basketball (4 courts – maximum 160 kids)

-         Camp to be run by assistant coaches and local ABA players

-         All players and coaches to make an appearance for last two hours of camp

-         Holiday Camp pack given to each child at the end of the camp
